Hi
This is Broncos Hotchkiss H39 (or Char léger modèle 1935 H modifié 39) sporting french colours.
I really love the variety and colourfulness on early french armour.
The H39 were a development of the earlier H35, and this model depicts a H39 with rebuilt enginedeck and a longer gun.
Over 1000 H35/H39 were built an there are a number of different cammo choices too chose from.
The build were a little fiddley and the fit weren't allways the best, but I've been told that this were one of Broncos
early kits so that might explain that. The biggest problem were the track, small link by link with really poor fit.
I struggled a lot with theese. Problems aside a nice little kit.
Built out of the box, painted with Tamiya/Gunze/Humbrol and weathered with oil paints. The markings are handpainted.
This little tank is quite small, does anyone know of any nice figures that might be placed by/on it to show its modest size?
Kind regards
/Tomas
