I have a question about T62 with era mod 1972 by trumpeter, i got this kit in very very cheap price, now i want to clarify if i can convert it yo t62 mod 1972 with slat armor by voyager. Do i need to fill the era holder holes in the turret? is there anything do i need change or add to my existing t62 era to convert it to slat armor type?
All suggestions are welcome

Slat armor is a addition to any T-62 regardless of production year. I cannot speak for the Voyager kit, but you should be able to add it to the model you have without issue.

Well I can't speak to the fit of the conversion part, I can say from building the kit you would have to fill in notches in the turret for where the ERA bricks fit. But they really are not that deep so it wouldnt be a major task

what if i use Sp design turret i saw in their site they have a t62 mod 1972/1975 with kd-2 laser rangefinder. Is that correct is it worth it compare to the trumpeter turret, and do some t62 with range finder saw any combat action in afghanistan iraq or chechnya without the bdd armor plates.
