Alrighty then. I have layed the groundwork and gave it some paint. There are no washes down atm.

Campaigns are cool. It is nice having a goal to work towards!

Coming along nicely Petro. Thr groundwork looks very good .... nice and dusty and the thin grass goes hand-in-hand with that. Dont loose that nice effect when you´re washing! What have you used for grass? It looks like coloured sawdust looking down on it ....... how does it look from a side profile?

The grass is , i beleive, either Verlinden static grass or Techstar's. I lost the label for it.

I won't comment on what alread has been said. The only comment I have is the glossiness of the ground work and sandbags. Not sure if it is due to the photo or the paints.

BTW, have you tried using Woodland Scenics (designed for model RR) grass or soils. I've been using their products for the lst few dios I've built.

The sandbags are a little glossy atm. i am gonna wash them and give them a layer of dust.
The lighting in the room , along with the flash does change the tones a little.
