Well David are you going to step forward and accept the honors ? I think it might help reduce the numbers of post asking questions , since it will reduce the time waiting for replies .

Good Idea. I know MSW has one Pirates Cove? and AeroScale has Modeler's Cafe.

Since it's generally off topic (usually food, drink and pranks) I'm sure you'd be welcome. Drop on by, Jack Flash is usually behind the bar.

I have actually been using a teamspeak server a lot lately (for gaming) and had this same thought for KitMaker. I assume people would use it but the question is how many? When you lease a teamspeak server it usually has some kind of limit on how many people can be connected at one time.

I would need people to act as moderator/hosts as well though.

I remember using MIRC chat before & they use to have a "quiz contest" running all the time, different subjects...it was a bot.
It was fun.
Could probably make one for modelling quiz or ww1 & 2 history.

David,
Kinda' like the Soviets in Stalingrad: You have been volunteered into service for the Motherland ... You advance, you die! ... you retreat, you die!

I'm one person you'd never have to worry about. I barely have time to run through the forums and have no desire to get caught up in a chat room.

I have the teamspeak server setup and just need to add a home-base page for it on the site (to explain for newcomers how it works and where to download it for free, etc.)

I want to limit the usage to registered members though so I will only have the URL info listed on a page that logged in people can see.

Look for that info shortly.

Cheers,
Jim
