Hi All
I'm in the process of starting this kit

Track sponsons

While the sponsons were setting I had a look at the snake tubes and back plate

These are going to take some sorting out, support is needed along each set of tubes to ensure full contact

A bit more progress, The figure goes from this

to this

I like the idea of the locating pins on the arms etc although I realise that they're very vulnerable.

and a couple of views of the superstructure

nice to see some interesting AFVs coming out .... are you going to model it in action on a beach deploying the snake ?

Ray
. To the best of my knowledge this particular vehicle was a one off prototype and never saw action. The only picture I've seen is dated January 1944.

Folks
More progress
The instructions say drill holes for pioneer tools that aren't used in this build hence the filler

the superstructure dry fitted in the chassis

this is becoming quite an interesting build as well as being an interesting prototype.
