Here is the second diorama I completed during the holidays... a patrol going door to door through a recently shelled town. Again, everything except the soldiers is scratchbuilt. I used the scalemilitary.com "Street Corner Base" for the roadway and base of the figure.

Again - this diorama (17 photos) can be viewed in MY GALLERY>DOOR TO DOOR or just click on the link below. Sorry about some of the photo quality... I'll have to re-shoot a few in better lighting.

Great work again Keith! Love all the rubble and beautiful kitchen dresser. No slouching with the details in this dio either! The figures are really well positioned and make this an overall stunning dio!

Well - let's see....

- Shop Shelving was the wonderful VERLINDEN kit (tons of goodies)
- Plush Chair was from spares box...I cast these myself
- Spindle was found in an old toy box at a garage sale
- overturned table was made from plastruct
- awning was made from scratch with pewter foil and brass rod (and lots of painting!)
- windows are from Grandtline (I am a retail dealer)... these are WONDERFUL
- buildings are my own creation using balsa foam - which I also sell
- base is one of my creations that I resell on my website (photo not yet posted)
- bricks are my own (see the article in FEATURES>DIGITAL DIAMONDS)

Think that is about it.... and yes, I will re-shoot the photos!

Another fine work with atmosphere. I like the detailing and the whole setup as well as the interrior of the shop. Further more the damaged sun tent is very realistic and a touch of reality left open. Congrats to a Master

OOps i almost forgot !!! should the goodies on the self that are neat and ordered should be taken away or at least most of them thrown down after all this disaster shooting exploding and all the people that went through there? just wondered about it. I know that they look really nice on the shelve ....but just asking

There are a few bits and boxes on the floor... and as for "all the people"... hey - it's a newly shelled area!

wow - been years since I built this dio... to answer the questions, much of the furniture is typical Verlinden resing kits, but the awning and drapes are all made from scratch... aluminum foil (awning) and lace (curtains) dipped in white glue...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they've been waiting patiently since 2004 for your response!
