Looks like a really good model to make. Just a shame that there is no interior as it would have been nice to see inside it threw the back doors of the turret and hull.
However brilliant work so far!!

Have the upper hull installed.
Mengs length given for the tow cable is a little short, it works better if you glue down the cable ends in position first then connect the cable between them.
I used a piece of wire instead of the string provided in the kit.

On installing the Turret, it hits on the Tow Cable guide parts on top of the hull.
I trimmed about half of the thickness of the tabs on the side of the tab toward the turret.
When you rotate the Turret, lift up on it so that it clears the fittings on top the hull.
Here is a closeup of the area.
You will have to lift up on the turret whenever you want to rotate the turret.
Now for the Camo.

The Mg. should be stowed pointing to the rear, otherwise it interferes with the hatch.

Nice build !
But .... you missed one big black camp spot on the rear of the tank on the loader side ... more like this:
On the other side the gunner's direct aiming sight would be in green only ...
your brown spot doesn't go up all that far ... more like this:
check this: http://www.primeportal.net/artillery/bjorn_dol/pzh_2000_dutch/
The Meng suggested camo isn't quite correct, the German/Dutch are identical the Italian differs also slightly from the former two.
Cheers

Well seeing that I am not a member of the EXPERTEN I just try to do the best that I can with the info. that comes with the kit.
I've found that the camo. pattern that Meng gave with the kit didn't match. The pattern on the sides and top didn't always line up. Most of it was guess work.
It's kind of pointless to point out missing parts of the camo, after the kit is built. Like I'm going to throw it away. No Way, I'm happy with it.
I have been building these, and posting them to try and help out the less experienced builder.

Don I believe Chris was just trying to be helpful should you wish to correct that minor error, and it was not his intention to denigrate your model in any way.

I agree with this and would like to add we need more of these.
Not to hijack your tread, are the tracks available separately - or are other quality tracks available for this AFV? I'd like to have a set for a Danish Wisent I have planed for later.

I'm glad you like it, That is why I have been doing this.
As for the track question, there are 2 sets of track that I know of.
The first is from Bronco for the Leopard 2 Set # AB3528
The next is from Trumpeter Type 570P DIEHL Set #02039
Neither are exactly like the track in this kit, but they are both very nice. I have them both. The guide horns on the bronco are open, while the Trumpeter are solid.
Hope this helps.
