Hi all,
This project lasted long than expected because of my Mediterranean laziness in hot Aegean summer, but I recently made some progress.Scene will be Special Forces find a weapons cache in Afghan village house.
Pickup is ready for heavy weathering, Specs are painted, just need some pastels and Afghan villagers on the bench.
Totally open to comments and critics.

Engin, I simply love your painting!! These figs look great!
Congratulations!!
If you allow me just one (and a half) comment:
I would outline (even with black where the light does not reach) the straps on the payload bundles, and I would provide some ammo on the MG. There is no point in having one mounted if you have to dig up the ammo boxes before firing back.
Cheers

I agree with Romain.Sometimes there seems to be too much stowage in the back for someone to even get to the gun,but the ammo would at least have it ready.
Excellent work on the painting.Looking forward to your dio progress.

Romain and Tom - Thanks for your comments. Some more load will be added to the backside, and ammo for MG is on the bench but I am trying to decide resin or PE.
I am sure as the straps is outlined, they will look better and I will do it.
Thanks again.

It is coming along really nicely. I especially like the truck. One pointer though, the two bags you have in the back painted camo are Modular Sleeping Bag system stuff sacks that only came in black at the time. With the new ACU digital camo, they also come in a green-gray like the ACUs do.
The stuff sack is the bag on the lower left.

The pickup is great, but I simply love the figures. Amazing job, please post some more pics of those!
BTW, who produces the fourth figure, the one carrying the AKs?

Gino - Thanks for your comment and useful info.
Mario - Thanks Bro. As I get better photos of the figures in daylight, I will post more. Fourth is Blast Models old figure BL35090F OIF US Soldier shooting with arms from scrap box and a German WW II Gebirsjager head. His cap is modified with X-acto and sandpaper.
