hello, i am building the M-atv model right now and i have a question about the interior floor... i have seen 2-3 models
that it looks like there are some extra protections on the floor behind front seats for the passengers... Is this correct that some veichle have that? i have never seen any real photos with this... sorry that i have no link for the photos i have seen.. but i mean some extra protection plate
behind the front seats on the floor...

I don't remember if one of the references you got from me was the M-ATV one, but in it, you can see rubber matting. It's of a similar type I've seen on M109 series floors. I found the closest thing to replicate it comes from old Italeri Priest kits - the engine screen. It has sufficient thickness to look like a rubber mat.
I've seen a newer style, but without unpacking my external hard drive I really couldn't decsribe it adequately.
