I have the gallery back online but you will currently have to login in there seperately (link is in the upper right) to upload files or manage your gallery. Also when you get the dreaded "can't access this page" warning just click back a few pages (refresh if needed) and you should be logged in on the gallery pages.

Cheers,
Jim

I have a few questions;
1.When I try to log in to the gallery ,first it tells login succesful then sorry you cant access this page directly.
2.I moved my photos to some albums yesterday, now i have the same photos both in albums and gallery.
3. did you get my e-mail about the avatar?
thanks and happy new year

Engin,
1. Either click your Armorama bookmark and re-enter the gallery again, or click back a few times until you are on the main gallery page. Then you should show up as logged in.

2. It confusing I know but images that are assigned to your callsign WILL ALWAYS show up in your member gallery area. If you move an image out of your sub-albums it will disappear from there and go back into your main gallery (and will also appear where you moved it to).

3. Yes. Please bear with me as I have a long list of similar requests.

Thanks,
Jim

This is fixed. So is the annoying problem with the access page error.

Just do a seperate login (till I get that straightened out) and all should be well.

A note to Editors: I have your gallery admin status currently turned off because I am doing so much testing and am also trying to figure out a way to give you the category creation access you need without all the other stuff.

Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
1.Problem looks over now. I have the access to gallery.
2.I will delete the same photos in the gallery and will keep the ones in albums.I wish deleting the ones in gallery will not affect the albums.. :-)
3.avatar is never a problem.I just wanted to know you got the mail. it can be done anytime.I also like the one I have now,it looks like a Turkish soldier in Korean war

Hi Jim
I tried to post a picture from my gallery today into a thread and I only got the white box and red cross. I double checked this to be sure but same thing again. This is the first time anyting like this has happened.
I see pictures now end in .jpg whereas before they ended in .jpg2067 (or something like this). Am I doing something wrong or is it just a transional thing?

Frank,
Can you give me a link to the post in question? I am pretty sure there are no problems posting images from the gallery.

Thanks,
Jim

Frank,
You had/have "/image.file" at the end of the image URL. This is what is messing up the images. I fixed one so you can hit edit and see the difference.

Ok Jim. I see you have removed the "/image.file". But before.....I have always posted my pictures like this and they worked ...... now I take this away.
Its no problem ....... but has something changed or have had a lapse or something???
