I'm building my Marder with an action diorama in mind. Using the Tristar S/P crew #2 figures. I know the Marder has a 4 man crew and the driver is concealed. The gunner I assume is seated in the front left side fighting compartment manipulating the gun's hand wheels; I'm using the loader ramming a round into the breech, from the same set. The remaining figure I also assume would be the commander with binoculars (or could it be the remaining figure holding another round?). I'm inclined to go with the gunner/loader/commander configuration. Any suggestions to the contrary?

As an addendum, the Marder had an MG-34 or 42 stowed in the vehicle. Tamiya has not included or mentioned this and Eduard has not included mounting brackets for the gun or ammunition in their PE set. Does anyone know details about this? Did they stow drum magazines or bags for belt ammo. I've got a great set of ammo bags from Ultra Cast I think, and am dieing to use them somewhere where they are visible.

oi biggles I found a site where it sais that they had a mg on board but not wich kinda of ammo packaging they used you can find that one here

http://www.onwar.com/tanks/germany/tfmarder3m.htm

you can also find pics and refs here
http://www.achtungpanzer.com/marder.htm it sais they carried 900 rounds for the mg
lets say a belt was 100 rounds and a drum was 50 guess they stowed 9 belts

hope that helped and for your loader commander question?
I think personaly making the guy load puts more drama to the model (diorama)?

but thats my tought
