Hello
This is repost because I posted it to wrong category days ago.
I've finished my 1/72 T-34-85 released from Revell AG.
It is nice kit but gun mantlet shape is not quite right so I changed it with epoxy putty. After that I added cast texture to the turret, gun mantlet and bow machine gun mantlet with Tamiya putty.
I also added weld seam to the turret and ventilation cover but maybe too much?
The head light is replaced by clear part from WAVE.
The tracks were little too short on both sides so I cut the front suspention arms and glued them in place.
Airbrushed with Creos Russian gureen, wethered and washed with Tamiya enamels and Creos pigments.
I'm not a T-34 expert so forgive me if my work on the model seems wrong or strange.
Any comments are welcom.
Thanks in advance.

Looks like a good, solid build. I cannot see the weld seams on the turret you mentioned very well, so I cannot comment at this point.

The kit tracks look to be typical for 1/72 scale...in other words, over thick. I would recommend a resin replacement set over any of the PE sets of tracks.

If you are looking for more recommendations on how to improve, I think I would start with making the details "pop" out more with painting. Drybrush in the highlights and use pin-washes to really add depth.

Otherwise, as I said, it is a good build.

Thank you Jacques,
Sorry, those pics are bit dark to see details.
Just like you mentioned, tracks are too thick, aren't they?
I'm afraid I can't find replacement tacks for 1/72 in local hobby shops but I really want to use them.
I will get more dry brush on the details too. The tank is very small so that will make it more presentable.
Thanks again
Jacques

For future builds in 1/72 scale, eBay may be your freind. For example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pavla-U72008-1-72-Resin-Replacement-T-34-Tank-tracks-M72008-/331225382808

Thaks for the very helpful link.
PE sets and replacement parts for 1/72 are hard to come by, aren't they?

I am not a big 1/72 scale armor builder, but I have friends who are. They say there is a lot out there, the hard part is connecting the caster/seller with the buyer. eBay seems to be a good place to start anyhow.
