From the Tamiya kit, with Friuls, some bits from Academy's Merk2, a Legends 3C conversion that was incomplete and lots of miscellaneous bits and pieces. Markings are from Echelon. Figs are Academy. Full build log is in CC.
Pics are on a one-size-fits-all-Magach-and Merkava base I use for pics and such and I'm still experimenting with outdoor photography, so please forgive the occasional shadow of me or the corner of my garage, getting there....
Time period is 1982's Operation Peace for Galilee, and I worked loosely from a pic that's appeared in several publications.

Am I not one of the "cool kids" or what? Maybe I should have built it OOB and painted it with Q-tips......

No you're cool in my book! Looks great!
This site can be funny sometimes. Depending on who is on and how many posts are coming in I tend to see posts getting buried and not seen many times, and yours may have very well fallen into that case.
With that said then there are other times when someone will be able to dig up and respond to a thread that hasn't been posted to since 1950!

Well, gentlemen (I use that term in the literal sense), thank you.
I'll take a chill-pill and move on.

Love the look without the side skirts.
Great photography, may I ask, what set-up do you use and do you recall what settings, aperture and speed as the depth of field so well done
Cheers

Scott, I hate to tell you, but I use Canon PowerShot 2500, outdoors, in the "auto" mode, so I couldn't tell you what settings, depends on whatever the camera "decides" to use.
I had a big blue piece of poster board as a backdrop.
I've tried indoor photos, but I don't have enough light and always get an orange tint on my models.
