The GAZ 69 was also the basis for the 2P26 "Baby Carriage" missile platform. But I've found little information, and that implied that said missile system was no good. Is that so?

The 2P26 used a missile called the 3M6 Shmel. It was manual-command-line-of-sight controlled and was too big to be man portable. the missile was only used on the Baby Carriage and the BRDM-1. On the Baby Carriage the missile could be fired from the gunners seat or from a short distance away from the truck using a portable remote. The missile was very difficult to control and extremely slow. It could take 30 seconds for the missile to travel it's maximum distance of 2500mm. It only had a 25% hit probability. Supposedly the 2P26 only has one tank kill to it's name, in Egyptian service. All in all I'd say it wasn't very good, although it was one of the first Soviet ATGM's.
