Just finished my Amusing Hobby Neubaufahrzeug kit. After my ridiculous Dragon Wagon build I decided to build this straight out of the box. IT was a joy to build, other than the tracks which were a pain in the ass.

I plan to enter it in the London IPMS model show in a couple of weeks but I don't know if it still qualifies as an out of the box build since I added figures to it. The IPMS rules don't seem to rule that out, but I'm not sure. I suppose I'll find out!

And yes, the large number 9 decal in yellow you can barely see on the turret is intentionally painted over and mostly hidden. The neubaufahrzeugs sent to Norway had their turret numbers poorly painted over before being sent. :-D

Hi Jason ... wow nice job .. don't worry about it being out of the box or not .. You'll do fine no matter what class they put it in ..

Thank you kindly. The Amusing Hobby kit is great and went together in a week or so. If only more kits were like that!

Hi Jason,

The vehicle is already a winner. However, the figures and vingiette setting add so much more. Very nice work!

Thank you. I actually have trouble now not building a model with at least one or two figures in it, if only to show size scale and add a little touch of humanity.

I debated doing one but since I decided to build it straight out the box, I didn't think it would be all that helpful since I just end up repeating most of pmms' review of the kit and it's construction. Sadly because of that I didn't take any in progress pics of this kit.
