How long is the actual built up vehicle? How long is the built up track length?
Im trying to work out, when I get mines completed... where to put it.
Looking nice Carl! Is this completed or is there still some work to do on it? Will you weather it some?

Fellow pig (#32)
It will receive a thin dusty coat,as the final weathering, just wanted to put some near finished pictures out there for you all.
The track itself is 42" long. Buy a big shelf! The gun and railcars alone are 36" long.

Was it an easy build? No flashy parts and/or excellent fit?

In a bad Crocodile Dundee accent, "Now THAT'S a model"

How many bench hours to produce a beast like that?

Wow!!

Seeing those released (twice!) leaves me hope of ever seeing a PACV hovercraft in injection plastic.

Hi, Great Job there TankCarl. I've hear so many so-so things about the Dragon kit that I was wondering if there was anybody out there who had finished it. Looks really nice. You have something to be proud of there.

Take care, Sgirty

Looks very nice, as usual.
How many bottles of paint did you use? I have the Trumpeter kit stashed, trying to get motivated to start. Thanks for the picture.

DROOL TIME!!!!!!!!!!

It took:
4 bottles of Model Master Panzergrau.
It weighs 3 lbs.
The gun is adjustable in elevation,a consideration, since I must display it in a hobbyshop's display case momentarily.
Despite my best efforts and mucho microset, there is some silvering on the Deutsche reichesbahn decal at the top.So if Archer has dry trans fers,I will purchase those and retro fit them, hence the lack of a final light coat of dust.
It is an easy kit to build, just apply good skills. The ladders are fiddly, but I built them slowly and discovered to getthem to ride above the roadbed,I positioned them in the upward retracted position.
Now on to smaller things,a Porsche jagd tiger

That is a heck of a big kit ! Is there a engine in the back ? Just noticed the smoke stacks and was wondering . I might have to get up the nerve ( and $$ ) to try this monster one day .

I have also finished the dragon kit. Didn't have to much problems. the kit decals was replaced with archer transfers on mine. here is some pictures of mine.

I've also replaced the shells with the ones from nuts & bits. the shells are great alot better than the kit ones. here's a picture of them.

They are charge bags. The little one is for short range and larger for long range. The archer transfers has the markings for the bags but you can't see them in the shot.
