I'm having trouble posting my pictures onto the site. I'm using Photobucket and when I try copying and pasting from PB to this site only the URL copies - not the actual photo.
How do I get the photo posted directly to the site?
THanks,
Kevin

When pasted, it should read:
[ URL=http://sXXX.photobucket.com/user/"your sn"/media/DSCN1749.jpg.html][ IMG]http://iXXX.photobucket.com/albums/zz242/"you sn"/DSCN1749.jpg[/IMG][/URL]
Edit, so it reads:
[ IMG]http://iXXX.photobucket.com/albums/zz242/"you sn"/DSCN1749.jpg[/IMG]

So are you saying I need to delete most of the URL after pasting?
Thanks,
Kevin

It should not matter, but the url information is not needed.

Try it out and post a picture here!
Then copy the jibber-jabber code and post that here as well so we all can see.
I too have tried to post here, and found it completely cumbersome. Post a pic so we can see how it matches up to the language that goes along with it.
Thanx!

I'm at work right now but I can try it in 1-2 hours when I get off for lunch.

Still not getting this. Do you click on the [img] button on the bottom of the panel to post the pic? Do you do that before or after copying the photo? Thanks again for your help.

The code you need to post images is [1mg][/1mg] I have had to use the number 1 rather than an I so that you can see it. the address of your image is placed between the two image tags with no spaces.

Go to the album on Photobucket that your picture is in.
Then just do this:
Step 1: Mouse over the upper right corner of the thumbnail to make the "tools" button appear.
Step 2: Click the tools button and highlight and click the "Share Links" tab.
Step 3: A pop-up window appears with all the various types of links. Highlight and click the "IMG codes" link.
When you click it, it will flash yellow and say "copied."
Your computer will hold the link for you in your "clipboard." You don't even need to look at it. It's just sitting there waiting for you now.
Step 4: Paste the "IMG code" URL directly into your Armorama post.
The result is this:
Once you copy the URL (link), you don't need to do anything else with it except to paste it into your Armorama post.
There are several different ways to do this same thing in Photobucket (depending on the type of view you're using), but all are very similar and all use the exact same "IMG code" URL.
Easy, peasy...
