It's about time to start the nominating process for the User of the Month for July. If you feel someone has been very helpful to you or someone else, or has simply made a significant contribution to the site, then please tell us who and why you think they should be honored. You can keep it short.

I would like to start off the nominating (yes I can do that) by putting Ken Fortier's (Kencelot) name in. Ken was there from day ...errr....two and both he and Rob really helped spread the word in the early days of the site. Of course he has helped out many-a-modeler in need over the past 6 months. He did take that vacation to Spain, and mostly shirked his moderating duties...but hey! I'm forgiving! hehe
I nominate Ken.
Cheers,
Jim

Ken aka "the linkmeister" has my vote, too. How about young
Yodaman... His posts are fun to read and can sometimes break the too serious tread about.. well, everything

Besides, I think he is the one in the Spaceship forum.
But, Jim tell me you're not avoiding the competition again??? Guys, I think it is time to do something about it. What kind of a special acknowledgement can we pin to our Webmaster? Any suggestions? "ArmoramA guru award"? "ArmoramA junkie maker ribbon"? "I didn't get any sleep yesterday again ArmoramA webmaster"?

Hi,
Our webmaster have refused to be the first user of the month but I think it deserves to be appointed for all the work he has to allow us to have this site.
So I nominate Jim (the webmaster of the year)

I nominate Jim Starkweather. I know he would prefer someone else receive the award, but...time to just accept it, and move on, Jim. The community (if I may be so bold as to speak for it) will not be happy until you receive that which you so richly deserve.

My vote is for Ralph (Screaming Eagle), He's bent over backwards and to the sides for me, helping doing research for some German armor, and therefore, he gets my vote!

I believe I would have to nominate Jim. As the developer and main man of this site he has done much to enlarge the wide community of scale modeling on the internet.

Wow there are some good choices here, lots of great helpful people on this site. And I have watched Armorama really grow, great job again Jim. But I am going to do my voting quarterly. So here it goes. July = Ken "Kencelot", August = Jim "Gunnie", September = Pete "EPI" and October = "ArmouredSprue" Paulo. Okay now that I got that out of the way, back to work.

For the next few months, I vote for Ken & Gunnie...
But for THIS month, my vote goes to Jim. If he doesn't accept the vote, I think we should give him a special medal of some sorts...
