Is this the same gun tractor used by the Brit Airborne at Arnhem..... (Airborne version cut down roof etc)...?

This is excellent news, I have the kit on order and it will join the Bedford build sometime next year.

Quite a nice looking kit. ONce I've made a bit of room in the stash I may invest in some of these Bedfords

Mine arrived this morning, courtesy of Hannants, Royal Mail and my pocket. Looks good and well detailed so far. The only issue I can see is that the Bofors carriage spare wheel stored in the back of the truck bed is of the spoked Mk I/III type, rather than the dished Mk II type. This is fine, unless your gun is a Mk II................

Another great tractor to build! Having almost finished the QLR, this seems to be the next project for me. (With the Bronco Bofors)
What wonders me is the fact that some much discussed issues have not been changed/corrected by IBG, such as the tyres. This model certainly improves a lot by using the Part of Poland etch set, which replaces completely the fuel tank support, the mud guards and many parts of the cabin.
But , to end positiv: IBG's Bedfords are a very good build out of the box, next to the fact that the are relatively cheap!

Looks good, though if this is for the early gun, there was a seat in the rear section for the brake operator.....early gun brakes were operated by a cable, not hydraulic.

The QLB on the box art. seems to come from one of the last 9 still excisting vehicles, the one in Brussels. IT took them over 6 years to restore it.

Mine arrived today too. Initial check before opening the poly wrapping, apart from replacing the Bedford and the Bofors spare tyre the rifles could have been better. I might use some brass rod for the tilt and just do a little surgery on the tarp so it fits over the tilt.
