Great news. Can't wait to see how they will tackle the radar antenna?

Do I smell a faint aroma of sarcasm there ?

Well, one more (exactly 2, with the BMD-2) chance for them to practice how to make a proper assmbly guie.

And a new chance for them to practice how to make kits a bit more easier to assemble and glue together...

A Tor-M1 chassis seems not as complicate as a M-ATV suspension.
Isn´t the Tor-M1 using the same hull/suspension as the Tumguska?

CAD Images mean nothing.
What does a rivet counter count on a cast or welded tank hull?

But their Tunguska wasn't either a fair example of fine engineering and parts assembling...
Let's wait and see

Unless it's Dragon M103 levels of bad I think it will be a worth while buy. There's nothing wrong with a little challenge.

Will reserve judgement until the kit is released, but a very cool and welcome addition for Russian armour fans. Even if not perfect, I will probably buy one anyway. Will have to sell the wife and kids to afford all these latest releases. We certainly are living in a golden age of Russian armour kits.

HobbyLink lists the kit as in stock. Anyone brave enough to give it a try and report?

I'm tempted. I've done Pandas M-ATV and Cougar....neither was an easy build but they do look nice when complete. When no-one else does the subject we should at least appreciate their unique choices if not their approach

It's also in-stock at
Hobbyeasy for a MUCH lesser price.
Does this vehicle use tracks that other vehicles use? I was thinking of trying to tackle this one - after my failed attempt at tackling their Cougar 4X4 - but only if I can find a set of AM tracks for it that might be easier to put together.

@Sean: I'm more than tempted myself by this subject but I'm really holding off because of the reviews you can read about their Tunguska (another must have in my eyes) which is basically the same base kit.
@Hisham: The tracks and most of the chassis is shared with their Tunguska if I'm reading this right so there are at least three manufacturers offering replacement tracks:
- Friul ATL-153
- Master Club MCMTL35061
- MS Models TL35061

Hi Guys
I broke and bought one. I've had it for a few days now. Lots of small parts, FLASH !?!?!? several small bits floating in the parts bag, main radar looks good whereas the smaller upper radar looks like off kilter shutters (I'll need to check my refs to see if this is accurate.), two piece tracks .. I will build it soon.

Tom, is there a chance for a build blog so we can follow along? That'd be really great!
