I thinking of buying the new meng models Panzerhaubitze 2000 but i wounder before i buy it, is this vehichle used by the German army in Afghanistan for ISAF?
If so , have the kit decals for ISAF included and is it possible to paint it in the german desert colours?

Yes it was used in Astan. But there it has an reactive armor on the roof. This is not included in the kit.

Hi Roger,
yes, we used 5 guns down in A`Stan. While I provided Meng with the nessecary references for a PzH2000A1 with Igelpanzerung, they obviously did made use of it. So far OOTB the Meng kit could be build with markings from Germany, Nederlands and Greece.

Thanks all for the info. Lets hope maybe perfect scale modellbau will release the reactive armour and why not the barracuda net also
