Jimbo - another little fun excercise (that actually might not take too long!)

How about a demographic breakdown of membership by Rank? I mean, how many Privates, Corporals, etc. do we have enlisted in our "online army"? If nothing else, it is always interesting to me to see how many "new recruits" we have joining our fold... and how many of the "original company" are still active on the site?

I think I joined the second week the site was up... member #39 or something like that....

Besides Jim and his administrator type callsigns, I believe I am the only other single digit user still active (#9). That would be interesting to see how many people who registered vs. how many stayed and participated.

Yikes....that is a tall order. Especially now that we have all these different rank levels. There is a query I can run however that might be interesting. How many users in the past 30 days have visited the forums via their "last visit" data and how many have posted.

Not sure how I would do something on the question of older users. However in looking at the list of the first 100 users we really do have quite a few of those people (20%) still active on the site.

I created a few queries. The results being:

Registered Users viewing Forum in past 30 days: 660
Users over 100 posts: 315

Interesting. The count for 15 days was in the mid 500's so I would guess that is about the average for regular visitors.
