It was already discussed here, but I'm still not sure about it.
I'm talking about this particular one :

Any of the SBS offering?
Also, what hull should it be? The Tamiya one, SP Designs T-72A hull upgraded with the 16mm front plate added, SP Designs M1 hull??

Hi Hugo;
Looks like A 2A46 without the Thermo Sleeve, there are A number of AM turrets that you could use. Flip A Coin, and take your Pik. Trumpeter would be my first choice, But that's just Me. For what I can remember, there was not A Accurate AV ERA wise. I know Miniarm makes A set of ERA Bricks, but they mite be hard too find. White Cat Hobbies would be the Best source for Miniarm sets, as for the Hull, again Trumpeter would be my choice. If my memory serves me rite the Attachments for the ERA was the sore area that needed too be accurate.
CHEERS & GOOD LUCK; MIKE.

Mike, when you say Trumpeter turret, what kit are you talking about? AFAIK, syrian T-72's are A or M1 versions...
For the hull, I have to dig for more info, but I guess it should be either an upgraded T-72A or a T-72M1 -if the syrian army ever upgraded their M1's to AV standards-
I guess I will go with the SBS T-72A turret and SP Designs upgraded A hull

looks like an M1 based on the step along the lower turret edge(additional armor on turret face) and around the drivers periscope( glacis applique). Unless I'm mistaken, if you have the Tamiya kit the hull needs no changes for a T-72M1 so you just need a proper M1 turret.

Thanks guys
I took a look last night at Hobbyeasy, but it seems that the Miniarm T-72AV turret -my first choice- is out of stock. I'll try to contact Daniel there to check if they are going to restock it soon.
Great advice about the hull, Sean! Less AM stuff needed....
