Well after getting the new Italeri M1A2 model for group build and seeing the 3 piece lower hull after trial fit was not that great I decided to use the Dragon lower hull.
Their are knock out pin marks on all road wheel arms Italeri, plus other stuff that does not really make for a great start to a model.
It is nothing that can't be done but parts do not line up that well either so this idea came to me let me know what you all think!
The mating begins*** http://community.webshots.com/album/108842069glhWEE

looks with a little effort a really great kit can be built as to the donor kit only $17.00 so no big deal really plus if the urge ever strikes can use the Italeri lower hull to make it!

The only thing is the return rollers need the plate added and bolt detail no big deal.

Looking pretty good . Thanks for posting the pic of the engine bay I have been wondering how good of a job Italeri did on that part of the tank .

Jeff, the return rollers don't have a mounting plate. The spindle is welded to the hull. The rollers are also both short, not one short and one long like the kits have them.

Just laying out the Facts of the kit much easier to have everything ready then to have to run around and get it all together

Bro Adams
You are the man was looking at the Italeri kit has plates on it so without looking at real thing assumed that it was correct. What a joke that was.

So another thing wrong with the Kit.
Well let the build begin!!
No cheating sgtreefe
