Hi Gang,
I wonder if the Merkava 1 wheels from PanzerArt provide any advantage over the kits parts?
Thanks

Hi Hans-Hermann,
I think so, finally had a chance to take some quick pics (slowly getting set up after our move). Note the hub detail and the added detail at the rear of the wheels. The center seam is representative of a new tire, but can be sanded down if one wishes.
I live in Planegg now, have to meet up some time!
Cheers,
Jim

Thanks for the pics Jim.
Bitskrieg is another option, albeit more expensive. Less cleanup and comes with painting masks though.

Bitskrieg also have aftermarket sprockets and idler wheels availbable.
Cheers,
Christophe

Aren't PanzerArt and BitsKrieg the same? I have the BitsKrieg ones actually. If I read their websites correctly, the PanzerArt set has the drive sprockets and idlers, while they are available separately in the BitsKrieg lineup.

Hi Jim,
thanks for the information. I just orderd a set from Modellbau König. Howe long will you stay here in Germany? Are you interested in visiting Tag der Offenen Tür events of the Bundeswehr in 2015?
Cheers
