Hi Gang,
I follow the events that going in with the IS terrorists in Syria. now that the Turkish Army deployed M60A3 MBT on the border. With the upcoming M60 kit from AFV Club, I wonder what are the modifications of a Turkish M60? Only the 76mm Wegmann SGL?
TIA

I think Turkey has a number of M-60s. RISE, TTS, Sabra, even slicks... They also have a lot of the M48s with upgrades to bring them to M60 standards. Most Ive seen on the borer watching ISIS are TTS.
I m guessing you want to model a Turkish M60 then? The AFV club kit will be nice im sure but there is still the older ESCI ones and with some work they are very nice kits.

All M60A3's on Syrian Border are TTS (almost all of M60A1's converted to Sabras) and they all have Wegmann Smoke Launchers, they have different camouflage and some minor stowage differences.

For your information, all tanks in the Turkish Armed Forces inventory have Wegmann Launchers, and all vehicles (including helicopters) have either NATO camouflage or that funky Southern Border camouflage.

Beyond that I don't know any other exterior modifications.

Nice image Frenchy..

On Frenchy's link, notice the different road wheels, M48 and M60 style (steel and aluminum) road wheels used together on all 3 visible tanks.
