Hi All
I was perusing the old campaign list and the Knocked Out campaign caught my attention. Some great builds in there.
I was wondering if there was any interest in a second round?

I'd be interested.
I wouldn't mind tearing apart a kit and giving it a facelift.

I would be interested in such a campaign. I have a few "KO'd" ideas I have been tossing around for awhile, I just need the gumption to commit to them.
An excellent idea. I hope we can go forward with this!

Might generate some more interest if you post the general (not formal) guidelines here.

Good idea Mike
I was thinking it being based around the original Knocked Out Campaign which the rules for were as follow
Any Military Vehicle from 1900 to present day. (Historical 'What if's' allowed = Paper Panzers etc)
'Knocked out' is not a track off but so badly damaged that it would take more than a day to fix or never! Shell/Fire/Mine damage even the elements Ice/Rivers/Mud!
I would be great to see different techniques and ideas swapped with each other and the list of possible subjects is endless, with plenty of burnt/blackened rusty, dirty muddy stuff to go at.
I thought it would be good for those of us returning to the hobby to extend ourselves a bit.

Stephen,
Any thoughts on partial builds? I've got a few partial M113s. To do anything with them I'd have to deconstruct portions, add the engine, and then add the damage. The other idea are a pair of ESCI sdkfz.10s that are partially done (mostly lower hull) that I was thinking about using as the basis for a strafed convoy or maybe flak units that lost against Allied aircraft.
Just trying to toss some ideas out there and see what I can go with. I'm interested in it either way. If partials aren't allowed I might look in to doing some wreck from the Gulf War.

I wouldn't have a problem with partial builds as long as the finished product was substantially changed from the start point, especially if you are including it in a diorama setting.

Thanks Stephen. I'll probably go with the sdkfz 10s. I'll see what other wreck-able bits I might have gathering dust that might go along with them.

I would be in.
I finished a perfect candidate a couple of years ago (https://butterfingeredmodelbuilder.wordpress.com/2015/06/16/a-burned-out-jeep/), and it made me eager to give a shot to the T-62 Verlinden conversion I have in my closet.

I've never done a knocked-out vehicle unless you count shooting a B-17 model with a pellet gun
I'm in.
