Is it possible to RC this kit? I've shied away from model craft before, cos the quality of their 1/35 Challenger was awful. What are the tracks like? Is this kit any better?

This is the much-travelled re-pop of the 60's vintage Tamiya kit. Which itself was an inaccurate rendition of a Cheiftain.
(Tamiya was huge into 1/21-1/25th motorized armor way back when; their 1/35th lineup actually had fewer offerings - and worse quality - than their big kits. My 1st Tamiya 1/35th kit was their nasty SU-100 - I returned it and got something else - instead of their T55 or T10. Now that's the OLDen days. Anyway...)
I have no idea what kind of tracks this re-pop Cheiftain has, but the original "big" Tamiya's I had or seen, all had semi-hard vinyl link/link trax.
At least the re-pop faintly resembles a Cheiftain, and given the paucity of big-scale choices, ya have to live with what's out there.

Guess so. Do you think the tracks are the whole loop (belt) type tracks, or a strip that has to be joined?
