I am building the Tamiya Krupp Protze kit towing the 3.7 Pak and was wondering if anyone had any comments about this kit? Or suggestions to improve it?

Darryl,
I just finished the kit and liked it a lot. In one of the Panzer Colors books there is a picture of the PAK (wheels and all) being transported on the truck. I was going to do that but couldn't get it to look right so I gave up.
Good luck with your kit.

Chuck,
I know the pic in Panzer colours that you are referring to. I also tried to get it to "look right" and have given up and will have the 3.7 being towed.

Look in the lastest Allied/Axis boo. It has a article on the boxer and some good pictures.

I built the Protze many, many years ago. I believe that it was the first softskin that I built as an adult. I do not recall any problems with this kit, in fact I believe that I enjoyed building it! Yes, it's an old Tamiya kit, and I didn't have any references on it, and probably didn't know what I was doing with it but, I do know that I still enjoy looking at it from time to time.
I think that you are asking about this (truck) kit:
