Marco, I think you have done very good work too... it's great when someone comes up with something unusual like this.
What made you think of making a hospital train in a station? Is there an old photograph that inspired you?

i'm so happy if you like my work!!brescello, you know the story of peppone and don camillo!!really there is no photo that inspire that scene but i've read on book of hospital train that travel on normal railway to go on the war front, this is a free inspiration of one of this train that go to helkp military on war!!

LOL, I think that hardly anyone here knows about them. He should be french or italian speaking at least. I don't know if thiese films made it farer then that. I watched the films as a child and liked them a lot.
The plot of the comedy(going over a few films from 1952 on, and no, I did not see the first projections as I am not that old) is about a catholic priest, regularly talking to god, and getting answers, in a small italian town ruled by a communist mayor. The first film was called "The Little World of don Camillo"
Nice souvenir, Romain should know them also.

today i finish the canopy...there is only one phase of paint...there is no dry brash and washing...i'll do it tomorrow!!what do you think??

thanks for posting the progress on your diorama! Great job on the construction! Congratulations!!
There are several points I find a tad disturbing though!
If you allow me I would first suggest a reduction in contrast! The platform floor is too dark and the walls are too "lemon" IMHO!
I would assume the facade would be more of an ochre shade in those days, and the corner stones less dark grey.
Also the stains on the walls are too strong and too concentrated in little areas. Dirt is found everywhere, especially in a station where trains rush past. More dirt in certain points is OK, but NO dirt overall is not realistic.
The roof tiles will be painted I suppose, so I'll wait before I say anything!
I'll leave it to that for the moment!
