Been working on this one for a couple of months. Just got the replacement decals. Hopefully, I will lay down a flat coat, this evening and start the weathering, tomorrow. I have add a little pigmentation, but am nowhere near done. I also may have to do a little touch up on the left turret decal. Maybe the flat coat will get rid of the haze.

You might want to apply some decal set first if those wrinkles are in the decal to 'snug them down'.

Agreed, a little micro-sol will snug them down against the turret nicely. Just a note, the decals you've used are for a tank in Italy in the 5th army.

It went away, as the MicroSol dried.
I know that it does not represent a kit deployed to the battle. I was referring to the fact that it is Dragon's BoB Sherman.
I've started the heavy weathering and will likely spend my evening at the bench.
Meanwhile, here are a couple of updates:

Thank you, for the kind comments. I'm feeling my second wind coming on. I may be up late, working on this one.

Stay on it, you have a winner going here. I saved a few pics for ideas on my next Sherman.

This has been a very enjoyable build, so far. I'm trying a few new techniques and am really liking the od side of things. Stay tuned for my Firefly VC.

Really nice model goin' on here. Love the paint and the weathering.
As far as the snow goes. The only Battle of the Bulge where the Germans attacked during a snow storm was the crappy movie from the 60's. Sorry.

Glad to hear that. I don't have much experience with snow.

Thank you, Scott. This is the first Sherman I have made a serious attempt at and I'm loving it. I have two more, in my stash. And, I will be starting the next, as soon as I finish the tracks. The third will be on hold, until inspiration strikes. The first photo is the truest to color. I plan on using the AK OD set, for my next one.

Looking really good Matt, I like the finish, not too heavy handed. This kit has the indie link tracks does it not?

Thank you. Yes, it does have three part indi links. They go together fairly well, although I would prefer a nice set of "rubbers".

yeah, I've had my time with them, I think the fastest I assembled a set was the directors cut of blade runner, but my fingers were in shape then, just a blur of production
Looking forward to seeing your progress!
