Does anyone have drawings or the dimensions for a RQ-7 catapult used in Afghanistan. Would it be an abitious scratch build as I already have the Academy RQ-7 in 1:35.

Maybe this would help

http://www.google.com/patents/US6457673

But you'll have to compare the drawings to the available pics of the real thing as details may differ...

Holy sh.. Frenchy, don`t lead me in tempation I have "some" pics of the launcher and the Academy kit. All I need now is the announced M1101 trailer from MR Modellbau as a base.
Keep calm...

Hi Joey,
maybe the manufacturers site of the trailer is helpful.

The trailer seems the easiest part since you can use HMMWV wheels.
Good luck with this project.

Agree. The trailer dimensions should help with "guestimating" the catapult ones...

Main problem will be getting all the holes in the launchrail done. Round, triangular and longround holes ain`t too easy. Good Luck!
