Hi Gang,
with the Turkish Forces deploying M60 and ACV-15 near Kobane, I wonder if the ACV-15 could be build or converted from Academy`s AIFV kit?
Thanks

Maybe this thread would help even though it deals with the ACV-300...

Hi Hermann,
Academy AIFV kit is Korean vehicle, not suitable for Turkish version. You can make this vehicle straight from the box using AFV club 35016 NATO AIFV. kit includes Turkish army decals too...or you can use AFV club 35S14 YPR-75 kit. For extra detailing you can use Eduard 35696.

Henri-Pierre's link is the best source you can find because Cem Altınışık -modeler who posts it- works in FNSS company producing ACV-15.

For details of vehicle, you may see this link and may contact me for any help.

best regards

Hi both if you, thanks for the competent assistance. I am not sure if I will build anything of the Kurds/ISIS/Turkey crisis,
(too much stuff on my mind), but an ACV-15 from AFV Club is VERY tempting.
Cheers

P.S. Are there any specifications for the Turkish Desert camouflage?

Hi Hans, a gentleman named Emre helped me out on one of my earlier post about Turkish M60A3 camo schemes and heres what he had to say

"Turkish M-60s are based on the A1 or A3 variant, but mind you, nearly all of our tanks are modified this way or that way. All of them used to be in NATO colors. Recently though, vehicles serving in the South-East areas and near the Syria-Iraq border started to receive the new camouflage. Frenchy posted their photos, the new colors are black (Nato Black), green (Nato green) and that crazy, sandy looking color".

Hope this helps
