Ive been buying Badger hand held paint mixers for years . They mix the paint in the bottles very effectively and they were reasonable inexpensive! my latest one was on its last legs and I went to order a new one from Micro Mark. The price was $10.45 , it went up ,but still not too bad. When I got to the shipping cost it was almost as much !! it would have almost doubled the price of the order ! . I decided not to buy it. Recently while in a grocery store (Shop Rite in my case) I saw a drink mixer ! I wonder!! I bought it and was going to experiment with the blade when I realized all I had to do is pull the old blade off my Badger and stick it on this drink mixer ! it worked great ! fit perfectly. and was only 5 bucks !!Give it a shot ! Its the same size and even comes with batteries.

I had my motor go in my Mixer a couple weeks ago after about 10 years of service. I couldn't find a replacement locally, but I happened to pull it apart before going out and while I was at the LHS, I saw they had electric motors there..and one of them looked nearly identical to the one in the mixer. I got it for $3.95 and just had to solider one part on it and I was good to go!

I just use a piece of brass rod, bent at 2 90 deg angles and stick in my Dremel.
