Does anyone know what to use to thin the AK primer? Water or alcohol? The reason why I'm confused is that unlike water-based Vallejo primer, AK primer, even when cured, can be easily removed by alcohol.

Use AKs own acrylic thinner for best results. A drop or two of water should work if you don't want to buy the stuff. From what I remember about AK thinner is that it smells very much like alcohol, but no doubt it has other ingredients such as retarders and flow enhancers.

I can't seem to find AK acrylic thinner in the US. The only way is to buy from an international seller on eBay.

Use Gunze Sangyo Aqueous Hobby Color paints thinner or isopropyl alcohol.

Ammo of Mig Jimenez thinner will also work.
