Hey guys.
I'm hoping that someone may be able to help me. I want to build another Academy M1025 (with some scratch built armour) to represent an early OIF vehicle. I have a Love Resin M240B that I want to mount on the roof.
However, I don't have a mount that will fit the 240.
I was thinking of using the M60 mount in the Academy kit and tweaking it. Anyone have any suggestions on how best to do this.
I know that Live Resin does make mounts, but the Post Office here has been on strike since August - and I already have a package floating around in a black hole. Won't be ordering in any packages until I know for a fact that they're back at work - which wont happen anytime soon.

The vehicle pintle mount for the M240 is very simple. The m60 mount is more complicated.
Here is the M240 pintle mount.
The green bar is the travel lock which is not always used.
There is also an alternate mount that holds an ammo can.

Thank you Gino, sir. I'll have to figure out how to scratch-build that mount. Maybe there's .30 cal mount in my stash that I can trim down.
Also, the Live Resin M240B comes with the cloth bandolier that holds a box of linked 7.62mm rounds. Would that work for a vehicle mounted gun? Or should I rather use the M60 ammo can and mount from the Academy M1025 kit?

The metal ammo can would be more appropriate for a vehicle mount.
