Posted some aircraft stuff on Aeroscale, here comes my first tank
It is RoGs Challenger I 1/72 with some PE details from Extra Tech.

Well Done!!! Outstanding job on the weathering and finish. PLUS - It's a FINISHED kit! Which is more than I can say for myself and my most recent kits!!!

Hi Mattie, thank you for your nice comment, it was started in Februar 2013, it was stalled for too long,mainly because of the wrong decals, it is not bad to lay a kit for some time out of the hand, in the time between, you can improve your skills or gather some upgade parts / informations.
This turned out my very best tank so far in any scale.More will come.

Hi Tom, thanks for your nice comment, i do not much AFVs but the small scale ones in 72nd had become an addiction.My Challenger is the best of the breed and i thought it was good enough to post it here.
Here is a compare "shot" with a RoG T-80 and the RoG M60A3

Currently a Dragon Jagdtiger with Porschelaufwerk is on the bench with a Trumpy Stug III Ausf.E

Hello Matthew, yes there will be more, this little AFVs are the perfect "medicine", when i am sick of canopy frames, fuselage bands..... it helps every time.
Posting and viewing here on Armorama will help me to improve my skills, there is a lot of good work here.

Firstly, welcome to the Braille Scale Forum. I like what you have done finishing this kit. I have this kit in my stash and hope to build it in the not so distant future, so seeing yours is a definite incentive for me. ;-) Your M-60 and T-80 don't look bad, based on the image size. The T-80 brought back some memories (not all pleasant) as I built the Monogram version a while back. If you're interested, you can check out my attempts at Monogram T-80B. The kit was very basic when compared to the RoG version and needed quite a bit of scratch building. Basically it is the Revell kit with a couple of missing sprues. Anyway, thanks for posting and hope to see more of your ground based subjects in the future.

Hi Jan, thank you for your nice comment, your link brought back some memories for me too,your own build details make that kit shine.You will find a comment under your article too :-)
My T-80 was a bit more out of the box, but i did some detailing as well and closed the gap on the rear.
It is maybe a good idea to present mine too. My first tank in this scale was the RoG T-72, after that one i ve did the T-80 what a difference.Later i have learned, that something with the T-72 turret is wrong, anyway, the T-72 "spread the disease"

A super result on your Challenger build and it looks like it's larger than 1/72. I'll also join the nostalgia group or secondary theme with recalling my 1/76 Matchbox build. It was my first tank build here on Armorama. Not as good as yours but it brings back fond memories as I did it for my first campaign.







I still have one more box of the kit so I might try to build that and use yours as a "model" for finishing. Thanks for sharing!

Hi AJ, thank you very much for stopping and leaving this very nice comment.Also thank you for sharing your "oldtimer". Your Challenger is very nice too and you can t have too many of these fine tanks, it is on of my favorites, it looks like a beast of a tank.
Will have other versions of the Challengers in the future.
Please note the photo with the match stick, its 1/72nd :-)
