I recently saw a BTR-D in 35th scale, but can't locate the manufacturer. Can anyone help? It is in the same light gray styrene used by Dragon and Trumpeter.

You're thinking of the Eastern Express kit, the only 1/35th BTR-D so far. I wouldn't be surprised if Panda puts one out soon.

Thanks Eric. I'll keep an eye out for a new kit.

Hi Guys;
The EE kit is o.k. for what it gives you, which isent much ! altho you will have too replace the kits Tracks. It builds into A decent Model, the only Problems that I had with my kits was the Plastic was just A lil-bit too Soft and thin. You will have too be Careful with Adhesives as they will Melt the Thin Plastic. On the Inside of the Lower Hull, its Best too Reinforce the Tub with Sheet Plastic as this will Help keep the Hull Tub from Warping.
CHEERS; MIKE.

Hi CJ;
The BMD-1 has the 73mm low Pressure Gun, same as the BMP-1 ! The BTRD is A Turret-less longer version and has an Additional Road Wheel. It was Built in several Different Versions, ie;) C&C and Weapons Carrier.

I was considering possibly building a UN variant to go with my lav. I enjoy working with a white base.

FYI the Eastern Express kit was also reboxed by Alanger. The Alanger kit might be easier to find those days.
Cheers,
Christophe

I got the EE kit off Amazon, along with a Trumpeter ZU-23-2. Hoping to do a version of the BTR-ZD
