I'd agree with zero_cool. VP is pretty decent on detail of buildings. You realize you'll have some detail things to add like windows doors etc.
Even if they are cracked or broken take them out of the box carefully and reassemble them and use some white glue or some epoxy or even stronger yet pin and epoxy.
I've had to do that on occasion.

Be prepared they may have some damage as the plaster is usually damaged when shipped, this is not uncommon, but is almost always repairable. I am familiar with both kits they are good ones. You will enjoy them.

Hi Joe,
Some of verlinden kits have door and window details as resin parts in the box. I had both of those kits before, the detail is good and they look perfect when painted. As the other friends told ;(unfortunately)they usually come to you broken, especially if the surface of plaster is wide. Probably italian farm will be fine but european house will have some damages.(I wish not)..my european house was broken but it is easy to fix.

Have done them both - quite nice, especially the house which has super detail. Plaster does break a lot in shipping, which is why i have started doing all of my commercial work in Dental Plaster instead of the white plaster... it's about three times as strong. I was getting too many customers with broken kits until I changed. White plaster is easy to repair however, with a little "spackle" wall paste, and hey - what is one or two more cracks in a ruin, right?
