Best varnish satin/gloss?

Hi
What is the best varnish today? I have bad luck with vallejo satin
varnish, always this sandpaper finish, dont know why
any ideas?

Maybe it's drying too fast ? Try a little bit of retarder .

The varnish is drying before it gets to the model. Get the airbrush closer to the model. Keep a wet edge.
