I got this base in a weathering set from my local shop (ak122). Was just wonsering if anyone has used it, and what their experience was with it. Any photos of it used it builds? Recommend primer? Thanks!

Yes, I've used the AK base, usually with very good results. I usually use a Vallejo IDF Primer. I say usually because every now and then, the paint sets with a faint pattern, where you can almost, but not quite see through to the primer. I have no idea why this happens, or under exactly what circumstances. It's never been noticeable "enough" to ruin the paint job.

If you go to the dio section and look for a build called "Rough Road, on the road again" you can see the AK color used on a variety of vehicles. The washes weathering etc include AK, Vallejo and Lifecolor. I use quite a bit of the AK122.
