Hi All

I have recently finished the T62A diorama entitled "Crossing Town" using the Tamiya Kit of T62A which has fair details and some other additional kit and a scratch made diorama base.
Here is the link to the youtube making video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rExizBwyqD8

The T62 Soviet tank played a lot of major roles in Egypt wars, since 1971 it served and continues to serve in the Egyptian Army:

The Tamiya Kit:

Filling with paste some seems:

I especially like about this kit the metal wire frame for the exhaust grids, a joy to weather it too:

Adding Mud and Sand to the lower and upped hulls:

Assembling and painting the ruined Arab building:

Painting and breaking some of the blinds:

Adding some broken glass:

the window assembly:

Creating the palm tree from photo etch:

Creating the base ground from hobby clay:

Assembling and painting the figures:

THE FINISHED DIORAMA:

The Egyptian Buffalo:

I know there is a lot of room for improvement on my model quality and finish as i am limited by the resources in Egypt, but I lately bought some interesting tools during my travel and i think my next models will show a lot of improvement.

thanks for watchin

Now this is what I'm talkin' about...modelers from different countries doing the same stuff and not seeing each other as an enemy...if only politicians could see it our way...the TREADHEAD way!

Nice build Hussein!

Hi Hussein,

Great job, very well done.

The T62A is very well finished and weathered. I like so much the figures, as you have modified them to look like the real one, including the egypthian buffalo...

The boy selling the fruits is really great.

The damaged building: due to the ruined walls, how about to put some rubble all around ?

One more thing: the entrance door looks big compared to the figures. Is it right or just an impression ?

hi Hussein,

Nice build and a rare seen theme, an eastern town and AFV.

But, please, take your cow to the dentist and remove the upper teeth! Cows don't have front teeth in their upper jaw.

Hello Hussein,

A nice little market scene you've created here. And the 1:1 photos add much personality to the story. The stubborn cow is very cool! ... moooooove out of the way!
