Mark, within reason yes. If it saw service on the Asian Mainland or in the Pacific it's good to go.

Within reason goes without saying

Thank you, John! Folks we are now official. We're roughly 2 months out, plenty of time to firm up those build plans. Does anyone have a suggestion for our award?

I would say use the Asia/Pacific campaign Ribbon maybe add an arrowhead and a couple of campaign stars to it
just my thoughts

I was thinking along the same lines, although I have to say I never considered the arrowhead/battle stars. Excellent idea.

I went to the campaign site but can't find any way to enlist. Can some one send out a signal flare to show me where to land my Marines?

Thanks Mark. That was the problem. I usually can't reply to a post with out being signed in, which I did, but when I went to the campaign page I found a log in area and loged in again and the enlist caption came on. Thanks a lot. bob d.

Bob, been there done that
Since this is a BIG campaign, maybe I should go big too. Stop building single engine planes and step up an engine or 3. Maybe a PBY or a PB4Y? Nothing sez Pacific War like a PBY or a PB4Y. The campaign might just be long enough to build Matchbox's PB4Y-2.

Just waiting for the start day and my Masterpiece palm logs to arrive. Have the Dragon Marine set picked out and some supporting actors in very bad health waiting on the side lines.

D - 12 and counting. Everybody getting ready? Being a retired FMF Corpsman I'm thinking seriously about a small vignette with a subject near and dear to my heart, a Corpsman tending to a wounded Marine. I've found a suitable Asia-Pacific ribbon, just have to add an H+70 years bar to it.

Another dio or vign would be real welcome. Wont make me feel all alone like a pinned down Marine. Great subject idea too!
