Thanks Hisham!

Nice but just wish someone would do the British armoured vehicles such as Foxhound, Wolfhound and Mistiff.

In theory you could do a Mastiff conversion from the Cougar but I bet it won't be an easy job, even without the bar armour...

Here's hoping Meng will release the Achzarit interior as a separate kit, and that it would work in the early version.....

A somewhat better pic... And I agree about the interior being sold separately

Great news on the Achzarit: the details that make it great are the ECM mast and the towing horns.

Next the 50cal RCWS & late cupola? Will pre-order this one for sure. & maybe even the Cougar too.

Thanks for posting, Hisham

Thank you Hisham for the update! I believe that if MENG had decided to sell the interior as separate kit it would be already announced. They did the same with the M3A3. Anyway these are great news! As far as i can see the differences from the early version are the interior, the Centurion wheels, the new reinforced tracks, the new cupola with an OWS and the front towing hooks. Are there any further which i did not notice?

All the Achzarit need is a feed chute/ammo belt for the OWS. Perhaps something for the AM companies?

I bought some Live Resin 7.62mm Gatling gun feed chutes to use on the Achzarit OWS, perfect for the job.

Best regards,
Paul.

Question to the group: I've recently heard some info on the D9R being discontinued/unavailable due to copyright issues. Has anyone heard anything regarding that? And I'm first on line for the MRAP, that's my Xmas present!

Paul,

Sorry to rain on your parade, the resin is too brittle to bend to mate with the feed chute. I've tried. I am hoping for an update PE option. Or the 50cal RCWS from LiveResin just to make this cruel lady sing.

very good news that a cougar will be made in plastic, i had the cromwell resin kit once... When i check on Meng-model website it says that you can build the Cougar kit in 2 versions... Cougar 6x6 Mrap and Cougar HEV 6x6 Mrap, what is the differances on these 2 or do they almost look the same?
But one thing is sure.... Will buy atleast 1 of this kit and the EOD figures...
