Italeri Schwimmwagen is not good in details as the new Tamiya kit but it has the advantage of building and painting easy and fast . I thought it would be better to have it in a diorama instead of filling a space in my stock.(now I have a new space on shelf for a Tamiya Schwimmwagen )
It will be drybrushed in oils and weathered in chalk pastels
I am planning to paint Tamiya's new Ger. Panzer Div. Recon. Team figures with this heavily loaded vehicle and will make it an Ardennes dio.

The Italeri schwimmwagen may be light in detail ... especially in the inside, but you couldnt tell from all your stowage. This looks great Graywolf. Your weathering is first class and everthing is tied together so well it could be taken from a photograph. I simply love how you have this finished. It all looks so natural. I built this a few years ago and their kubelwagen recently, and they are perfect for a dio... dressed up like this, why waste the extra money on tamiya.

Graywolf

That is one find piece! I have to echo what has already been said, if this is an example I can't wait to see the dio. It is a clean build that shows even a not so good kit can be built into a nice looking piece.
