Venelin,

Those were my favorite Shermans (Those and the IDF M50, M51)! I'll be watching.

Hello!

What color is appropriate for British tankers in the desert. Sandy, light brown, khaki etc.? Found on Google some images, but need opinion.
The Sikh will be with standard khaki, but others?

I will paint the figures during the weekend

Thank you in advance, cheers?

Just find out that Live resin will release a great detailed M2 Browning machine gun with cradle for ww2 tanks. I saw it on pre-order at Hobbyeasy and I'm sure will further enhance the model.

meanwhile proceeding with oils:

Just be aware that is the later cradle for WW2, you want to get the Tasca M2 set which has the earlier 20 rd Ammo Box

Wow, you have done a very nice job with this kit. I love the way the early M4A1 Shermans look.

You are a very skilled model builder!

Some progress with the diorama.
Base is from picture frame, filled with isolation foam. It wasn't thick enough, so I added a cork sheet on top . Rest is made with modelling clay, sprinkle some sand, rocks etc., fixed with white glue.
Also made some tufts of dried grass with homemade applicator.

Cheers!

More progress with the base.

Overall primer with Vallejo grey, sides are primed with black.
I mixed several acrylic paints (AK Braun, Vallejo Sandy yellow and Ivory) for the sand base color.

Sorry for the first two images, it was very cloudy...

Cheers!
