So I've just purchased MIG productions dry transfer sets:
3.223 - 'Soviet marks for Captured German Armor'
3.225 - 'Lend & Lease Soviet Army'
Both of which sound and look great alluding to many potential interesting builds in the future.....However, there is nothing included with the transfers to indicate what vehicles sported what markings and how they are to be applied (what some may refer to as instructions?).
I can guess a few from years of experience and could probably spend hours researching online for some others but the sticker on the packet says:
"Sample Versions in our web site"
therefore I'd expect perhaps a set of digital instructions or the like, but have come up with nothing searching the Mig website or google.
Ideally I'm after something along the lines of the the excellent Bison (Now Star) Decals instructions which are a constant inspiration, however perhaps have my hopes set far too high?
Can anyone help with either set please?
Regards,
James

As for the captured German armor - you could see this in a book by Maksim Kolomiets "Trofeynie tanki Krasnoy Armii. Na tigrah na Berlin" - I am sure you could find it on eBay, Amazon, etc.
Same with lend lease tanks - try googling for "lend lease tanks in Red Army", or try to find this book:

Thanks Phil,
As you rightly suggest, there is a chance that I can find several of the vehicles by searching online or in books. However this is likely to be an extremely drawn out process as without instructions or a guide there is no way to even ascertain what AFV types I'm looking for! This would lead to very broad search criteria!
With other aftermarket decal sets such as Bison/Star the pictures supplied in the instructions are often the inspiration for a new build, unfortunately seems like it'll be the other way around this time.
Cheers,
James
