Gents, here is my completed M198 diorama. I spent about 8 months on this display. The model is the Trumpeter 1/35, Tamiya field accessories, Verlinden accessories, and other miscellaneous add-ons. I was with B Battery, 1st Battalion, 14th Marines in Pico Rivera, CA. I spent many weekends shooting this sucker in Twenty Nine Palms and Camp Pendleton, CA. Hope you guys enjoy the images.

Very nice. Great job with all the accessories that are usually around the gun. I like it.

Very nice! I love the detail. Is that an M1 collimator, by the way?

Cool--I wasn't sure, but I'm glad I can identify at least one piece of kit!

Excellent fire base. Would like to see more footprints and tire tracks, but overall a real winner IMO.

Thank you Bill. By the time I made the base I forgot to use the howitzer's tires for track imprints! It sure would have added to the realism.

Mat, those are the cammo net poles. Once the net is spread over the gun and the 5 ton truck we raise the net using those poles and spreaders.
