Hey Bubba!!
Good to see you back and with your usual inspiring level of detail and craftmanship.
Love the breadbag and other gears' details. I can almost hear the bolt clicking that spent round out the top and the sound of the report echoing down the valley.

Welcome back! Glad to see you're still at it. I know the figure this began as, great update on him- but I wouldn't expect anything less! Looking forward to how this turns out!

Looks great!
I'm actually most impressed with the putty and seam work. How did you get such flawless shoulder fabric seams and what type of putty is that light green stuff?

Also, was just scrolling through your Blogspot page, and thought I'd ask where you are with that "Brothers in Arms" duo? Always loved how that one looked.

Great to see you back with another tour-de-force sculpt Gary. Once again you have nailed the pose and matched the face perfectly to it. His equipment is also placed very nicely- it hangs very naturally. Fantastic work.

Hi Fellas,
Thanks for looking in and the words of encouragement

Jerry, you've described it exactly as I envisaged this fig! Lets hope I can do it justice with the painting.
Jason- The putty is 50/50 green Stuff and Milliput. Wait until the putty has cured for about 90 minutes then gently press in the seam with a sharp blade.
Hi Conor, glad to see you recognised the base figure. This was pretty much a very straightforward conversion, mainly the arms and some extra detailing. The "Brothers in arms" duo, pretty much on the back burner at the moment but now you've reminded me...

All the best,
Gary

As Jerry said above.
Also, I like the way he's rounding the boulder. You have a good eye for small details. Very nice!

What can I say? You're brilliant, the figure's face really gives off a tired, worn out feeling that I wasn't expecting before seeing him finish? I agree with Jerry as well, you must have a great color palette. All the colors are nailed perfectly. I decided to follow your example and got myself Green Stuff to mix with Milliput. So far I really like the result.
Now, how about Brothers in Arms?

Just a thought...!

Gary- a truly fine finish on this figure. You've brought him to life brilliantly with a great, expressive face and excellent attention to color details- my favourite bits are the web equipment-just amazing stuff.
