Shalom Jimmy,
Don't know about the acrlics, as no one fits my choice.
Humbrol #84 is the best AFAIK.

If you go with Humbrol, I think Khaki Drill is a much better choice.

Testors Model Master makes a Sinai Gray that is a good match for the color in use in the 70's early 80's. An alternative mix is 50% Testors Model Master US Armor Sand and 50% US Olive Drab. The issue color was a dingy gray-green, not a yellow or brown "sand" color. If the paint was very dusty, this green would be muted, which is why it doesn't always show in photos.
Current Israeli paint is darker and greener.

Hi Mate,White Ensign Models did (do ?) a 14ml tinlet of Sinai grey but it needs a flat coat as it has a satin sheen to it.I bought six tins a couple of years ago so I don't know if it`s still available but it has got to be worth a try.
Hope this helps
